I just read this article that was posted on a thread at one of my writing forums and I thought I would share.
Incredible moment at softball game stuns crowd
This is what sports should be about. That they other team would give up their victory to help this girl achieve her dream makes them winners in my book. Wouldn't it be great if we could all be this selfless? I know I would want my kids to learn from these girls example.
